History – CPM began operation in April of 2008.  The company was formed after the decline in the semiconductor industry forced a large amount of skilled Trade, Technical and Customer Service workers into the labor pool.  Pat Large, the President and Owner of Quality Tile and Roofing, purchased the machining assets of a company that was leaving the Treasure Valley. Starting with 8 employees, CPM Inc. was created.

Growth – Over the course of the following year, CPM grew as a result of diversifying to support industries such as Transportation, Semiconductor, Local Manufacturers, Dept. of Defense, State and Local Government Agencies.  CPM also provides manufacturing services for Prototyping and the creation of new products.
